 | FFL Names Rats Chase Winner Monday, June 25th, 2012: So far in his young career, Shannon Chase has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Rock River Rats first baseman hit at a torrid .458 clip as he collected 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. This season Chase is batting .286 with 38 hits, 5 home runs, 22 RBIs, .354 OBP and has scored 19 runs. |   |
