 | FFL Names Best Player Monday, April 30th, 2012: 21-year-old Scott Ford made a few Murfreesboro headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Ford Frick League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .458 average. Ford collected 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Ford is currently batting .275 with 4 home runs and 15 RBIs. |   |
