 | League Suspends Red Bulls Harris 7 Games Wednesday, April 11th, 2012: The Riverside Red Bulls were officially notified that shortstop Lee Harris had been suspended for an altercation that occurred in yesterday's game with the Jail Birds at Red Bull Stadium. After arguing a called third strike by the plate umpire, an enraged Harris threw his batting helmet toward home after he reached the dugout. That action got him ejected and a 7-game suspension. "I threw the helmet and I shouldn't have. But I don't deserve the suspension. It was a bad call that started this whole mess." So far this year Harris is hitting .346 with no home runs. |   |
