 | Ottawa's Smiley ACL Star of the Week Monday, September 9th, 2013: Caleb Smiley burst onto the Alexander Cartwright League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie left fielder for Ottawa garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 22-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .478 (11-23) with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs last week. This season Smiley is swinging the bat at a .259 rate with 130 hits in 502 at-bats.
