 | On a Roll: Townsend Hits for Cycle Friday, August 16th, 2013: Ninjas catcher Dave Townsend had one of the best days of his career today when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the New York 15-7 win over the San Antonio Storm Troopers at The Clone Army. He shelled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, collected 4 RBI and scored 3 runs. Dave Townsend singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Newt Pearce in the 9th. Thus far this year Townsend is hitting .263 with 12 home runs, 55 RBIs and 54 runs scored. |   |
