 | League Suspends Whitecaps Johnson 6 Games
Friday, July 26th, 2013: Grand Haven Whitecaps third baseman Nick Johnson has been suspended 6 games in conjuction with his ejection yesterday for arguing a third-strike call in the Frisco game at North Shore Park. Johnson did not immediately return to the dugout and continued to yell and scream at the home plate umpire. The league said it will not condone this type of conduct and issued the suspension.
On the year Johnson has hit .238 with 7 home runs, 45 RBIs and scored 44 runs.
