 | FFL Awards Player of the Week Monday, July 22nd, 2013: 22-year-old Flynn Beasley made a few Phoenix headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Ford Frick League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 29 at-bats to put up a .448 average. Beasley collected 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 9 runs. This season Beasley is hitting at a .346 pace with 18 home runs, 95 RBIs and has scored 82 times. |   |
