 | Miller Fashions Shutout Against Beehive Sunday, July 14th, 2013: Before the game Harry Miller liked his chances and his instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing the Storm Troopers pitcher whitewashed the Madison Beehive 13-0.
Miller said in the clubhouse afterward, "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day. My control was awesome. I could throw my curveball even when I was behind in the count."
The San Antonio starter held Madison scoreless, giving up 5 hits while registering 6 strikeouts and issuing no walks.
"We didn't have very many good at-bats," the Beehive manager said in his postgame interview.
"When that happens, you usually lose."
This season Miller has a 10-2 record with a 1.51 ERA in 17 starts. | |
