 | Rocha Torches Hellcats for 5 Hits Wednesday, June 26th, 2013: It doesn't happen very often, but it happened for Ramón Rocha -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage at Red Bull Stadium and paced the Red Bulls to a 7-1 win over the Jacksonville Hellcats. After his dynamite batting performance the Riverside shortstop told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Ramón Rocha singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Rocha is hitting .267 for the season with 9 home runs, 30 RBIs and 68 runs scored. He has 78 hits in 292 at-bats and played in 79 games. |   |
