Tuesday, June 11th, 2013: The Cougars Jeff Parks was injured throwing a pitch during today's game against the Asheville Tourists. The team doctor expects the reliever to miss 8-9 months with a torn rotator cuff. No roster changes were announced by team officials.
This season Parks has chalked up 1 save, notched a 0-1 record with a 5.10 ERA, allowed 46 hits in his 42.1 innings of work, struck out 53 and walked 20. Opponents are hitting .279 against the Anniston hurler.
