 | Super Swinger -- Suggitt Slams 5 Hits Monday, June 10th, 2013: Phoenix third baseman Cordell Suggitt put on quite a show at The Kennel with a big 5-hit day. But all for naught. The Lights were beaten 8-2 by the Spokane Bulldogs. In the postgame interview he said, "The team didn't do too well today, but it was a good one for me, at least at the plate... 5-5... wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average... and my salary, too. But I could do without the losing." Cordell Suggitt singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Todd Rogers in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Suggitt has hit at a .331 clip with 47 RBIs, 10 home runs and 60 runs scored. |   |
