 | May's Pitcher of the Month Goes to Erwin Saturday, June 1st, 2013: There's something about a young rookie winning the Ford Frick League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Donald Erwin, a 26-year-old starter for the San Antonio Storm Troopers. In May, he topped off the month with a 4-1 mark and 1.58 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 40 innings, fanned 29 and held opposing teams to a .190 average. This season Erwin has a 5-4 record with a 2.78 ERA in 11 starts. |   |
