 | Hernández Picks up ACL Monthly Pitching Honor Saturday, June 1st, 2013: Over the past month Jaime Hernández has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Alexander Cartwright League. He proved all that and now he's been named May's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Riverside Red Bulls posted 4-0 mark and a 1.29 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 42 innings, permitted 29 hits and fanned 44 batters. Looking at his season stats, Hernández has won 5 and lost 5, collecting 80 strikeouts and 27 walks in 79 innings with a 2.96 ERA. |   |
