 | Phoenix's Ljungberg Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Monday, May 20th, 2013: 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Phoenix's Markus Ljungberg had a very special day against the Deacons when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Phoenix Lights to a 13-2 win at UFO Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Ljungberg said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Markus Ljungberg singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 8th. Looking at his present stats, Ljungberg has compiled a .321 batting average in 44 games with a .450 on-base percentage, while hitting 2 home runs and driving in 21 runs. |   |
