Monday, April 22nd, 2013: It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Randall Brown of the Frisco Rams reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Brown rocked opposing pitching for a .464 average (13-28), 5 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award.
Thus far in 2013 Brown is hitting .354 with 5 home runs, 17 RBIs, 13 runs scored and has compiled a .409 OBP.
