 | League Suspends González and Cox for Fisticuffs Thursday, September 27th, 2012: The league decided to come down hard on Gabriel González of the Aeropostales and John Cox of the Bulls for their roles in a brawl during a game between Indian Wells and Durham at Stars Field. Both combatants will receive 6-game suspensions because of their confrontation. So far this year González has 7 home runs and a .263 batting average. This season Cox has made 44 relief appearances and has 1 save. His record is 2-2 with 63 strikeouts in 69.2 innings with a 5.30 ERA. |   |
