 | Crawford Sticks it to KSL Pitchers Monday, September 17th, 2012: 23-year-old Denny Crawford made a few Durham headlines during this past week as the rookie third baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Kade Stenson League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort.
He cracked 13 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .481 average. Crawford collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 8 runs.
So far this season Crawford has gotten 166 hits in 558 at-bats for a .297 batting average with 10 home runs. His stats include 55 RBIs and 79 runs scored. He has played in 142 games. |   |
