 | League KO's Banditos-Stingrays Players with 8-Game Suspensions Sunday, September 2nd, 2012: "I don't think I did anything wrong. I think my actions were justified."
Those were the words of Acapulco's Michael Kennard after a game between the Banditos and Stingrays, which featured a benches-clearing fight. The league did not agree, however, both Kennard and the Stingrays Scott Gorman will be suspended 8 games because of their actions.
Thus far this year Kennard has hit .345 with 10 home runs and 88 RBIs.
Gorman has started 15 times this year, pitched 91.1 innings, fanned 75 batters and walked 35. His current record is 6 wins and 4 losses with a 4.63 ERA. |   |
