 | Johnson, Brown Suspended for Fracas Tuesday, August 7th, 2012: Nobody was hurt in a confrontation yesterday between the Diablos Greg Johnson and the Banditos Thomas Brown as both benches cleared during the fracas at Hell Stadium. It appeared that there were a few punches thrown before the players could be separated. Today the league commissioner took action. The league decided to punish the guilty parties. Greg Johnson and Thomas Brown will each have to sit out 2-game suspensions for their roles in this fight. This season Johnson is batting at a .229 clip with 5 home runs and 17 RBIs. On his stats sheet this season Brown shows a 8-12 record, 23 starts, 139 innings, 82 strikeouts and a 5.12 ERA. |   |
