 | 5-6 Day for Garrison Sunday, July 1st, 2012: "Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," Coronado's Loren Garrison told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well." It definitely turned out well for Garrison today as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats against Acapulco. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Phantoms knocked off the Banditos 17-3 at Phantoms Field. Loren Garrison struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. In 51 games this year Garrison has posted a .274 average and put up these numbers: no home runs, 10 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |   |
