 | Tate Holds Philadelphia Scoreless Monday, June 25th, 2012: According to Zach Tate of the Minneapolis Freeze, "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location." He told his pitching philosophy to sportswriters in the postgame interview after his 4-0 victory over Philadelphia.
He blanked them on a 4-hitter, allowed 2 walks and had 2 strikeouts. "I really felt comfortable the whole game," Tate said.
His manager echoed his comments, saying, "He hit his spots time and time again."
Over the season Tate has thrown 116 innings and dished out 74 strikeouts with a 6-6 mark and a 2.56 ERA. |   |
