 | BCL's Best Batter Selected Sunday, September 1st, 2013: Bobby McClughan has a lot going for him. The Philadelphia left fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the Blake Camden League has just picked him as its top hitter for August. In 27 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .426 with 11 home runs, 28 RBIs and 26 runs scored. This season McClughan has delivered 90 hits in 243 at-bats for a .370 average with 20 home runs. He is getting on base at a .458 clip and his totals also include 57 RBIs and 55 runs scored.
