 | Patino Hittin' on All Cylinders Tuesday, August 13th, 2013: The Durham fans had a lot to cheer about today as Carlos Patino hit for the cycle en route to a 7-3 victory over the Joplin Fireballs. The 26-year-old left fielder led the way with 5 runs batted in and 4 hits. Carlos Patino hit an RBI double in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Mike Hartman in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this season Patino is batting .220 with 11 home runs, 49 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has 95 hits in 431 at-bats, 31 walks and a .273 OBP. Patino has played in 112 games. |   |
