 | Stephens Takes Home BCL Top Batter Award Thursday, August 1st, 2013: Chris Stephens is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Astoria center fielder joined that select company when the Blake Camden League announced the results of July's voting. Stephens totaled 29 hits, 16 walks, 9 home runs, 22 RBIs and 27 runs scored last month to put together a .319 batting average and .422 on-base percentage. Stephens is batting at a .333 pace this season, picking up 88 hits in 264 at-bats with 17 home runs, 57 RBIs and 60 runs scored. |   |
