Sunday, June 16th, 2013: "I'm frustrated right now," said Minneapolis starting pitcher Kurt Taylor. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Freeze, that's where he will be spending 4 months. Taylor suffered a torn back muscle in today's game against Joplin while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be."
To date this season, Taylor has a record of 1 win and 4 losses and a 5.84 ERA. He has appeared in 8 games and struck out 43 in 37 innings.
