 | 21-Game Streak Ends, Paz Hitless Sunday, May 26th, 2013: The Acapulco Banditos did something to António Paz no team had done for the last 21 games -- they held him hitless and stopped his consecutive-game hitting streak. But they didn't stop the Aeropostales. Indian Wells came away with a 5-4 victory at Underdogs Ballpark.
Commenting on the demise of the streak, the 28-year-old first baseman told BNN, "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever, but it was a good ride while it lasted."
So far this year, Paz is batting .359 with 11 home runs and 64 RBIs. | |
