Tuesday, May 7th, 2013: It took the Albuquerque team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever Philip Parker won't simply play through a torn labrum after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Freeze-Cacti game. At first, it looked like Parker might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 5-6 months.
This year his season stats show Parker has no saves in no relief appearances with a 2-2 record and 3.15 ERA.
