Monday, May 6th, 2013: It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Kade Stenson League, but last week Bill Smith of the Indian Wells Aeropostales reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Smith rocked opposing pitching for a .414 average (12-29), 5 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award.
To date this year Smith is batting .303 with 11 home runs.
