Friday, May 3rd, 2013: "I'm frustrated right now," said Billings closer Peter Anthony. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Mustangs, that's where he will be spending 13-14 months. Anthony suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow in today's game against St. John while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be."
For the year Anthony has made 11 relief appearances with 5 saves. He has also fashioned a 2-0 won-lost mark with a 3.60 ERA. In 10 innings he has fanned 6.
