 | Hits Galore: Paz Drills 5 Hits Sunday, April 14th, 2013: On top of the Indian Wells hit parade today was António Paz. He went to the plate 5 times and marched away with 5 hits, sparking the Aeropostales to a 9-4 victory over the Coronado Phantoms. The sweet swinging first baseman told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." The skipper of the Phantoms wailed to the press, "Too much plate. Not the way we planned it. Any hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." António Paz singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Terry Reeves in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. On the year Paz has hit .353 with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 5 runs. |   |
