It's Maurice Gould, this year's Thurman Munson League Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Gould compiled a 20-5 record in 32 starts, tallied 318 strikeouts in 225.2 innings and recorded a 2.23 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .220 batting average against him. |   |
