 | Clark Bashes 5 Base Hits Tuesday, October 16th, 2012: On top of the Dallas hit parade today was Jesse Clark. He went to the plate 6 times and marched away with 5 hits, sparking the Texans to a 18-15 victory over the Montreal Bandits. The sweet swinging second baseman told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." The skipper of the Bandits wailed to the press, "Too much plate. Not the way we planned it. Any hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Jesse Clark grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. This year Clark has hit 10 home runs and posted a .350 batting average. |   |
