Monday, October 1st, 2012: When the Roberto Clemente League regular season came to a close yesterday, Steve Frend was all alone in the top spot in the batting race with a .399 average. The 24-year-old Seattle Sasquatch right fielder smacked 214 hits in 536 at-bats and wrapped up the year with 38 doubles, 6 triples and 45 home runs. Frend appeared in 138 games and had 147 RBIs and 178 runs scored.
