Thursday, September 27th, 2012: Cale Hines is not exactly engendering good will with the men in blue these days. At least that was the case yesterday at the Maple-Jersey game. He became highly abusive when he was called out on strikes. That behavior was unacceptable to league disciplinary officials and they notified the Marauders third baseman that he had been suspended for 4 games.
This year Hines is hitting .220, produced 4 RBIs and 3 home runs, scored 7 times and gotten on base at a .381 rate.
