 | Crawford Stretches Hit String to 20 Thursday, September 27th, 2012: Win, lose or draw -- Jim Crawford just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. The Nottinghamshire Outlaws shortstop picked up 1 hit in 4 at-bats today, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated 7-3 by the Ann Arbor Barn Owls at Huron River Park. Jim Crawford flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
