 | Ouch! Ryan Taylor Shelved by Injury
Saturday, September 15th, 2012: The Montgomery Mountain Cats learned that Ryan Taylor is likely to be out for 4 months after he injured himself running the bases in today's game against the Ann Arbor Barn Owls. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a fractured ankle. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Montgomery manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Ryan is back in action."
This season Taylor has hit at a .271 clip with 19 RBIs, 4 home runs and 17 runs scored.
