 | Sasquatch Chill Collins's Hot Streak Monday, September 10th, 2012: The Montgomery Mountain Cats lost to the Seattle Sasquatch 11-8 today at Sick's Stadium, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Chris Collins's 22-game hitting streak.
"We felt if we could slow down Collins, we would win the game," the Sasquatch manager explained after the game. "They really seemed to feed off of his streak, so we really wanted to make sure they had nothing to feed off of."
Collins is hitting .373 this year with 17 home runs and 96 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .433, 55 walks and scored 93 times. | |
