Just ask Javier Ramón, the Boston center fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. Ramón piled up 12 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs and 9 RBIs while hitting .462. On the year Ramón has hit .317 with 13 home runs, 53 RBIs and scored 84 runs. |   |
