Thursday, August 30th, 2012: The Jacksonville Jacks will have to make do without John Kinnult for 9-10 months. He suffered a torn labrum while colliding with a player at a base in the game today against the South Carolina Bombers. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the shortstop. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back."
Presently Kinnult is batting .259 with 59 hits and 4 home runs. He has knocked in 32 runs and scored 22 times.
