 | Bad News for Toreros, Griffith Injured Sunday, August 26th, 2012: Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Edward Griffith of the Toreros knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Maple Marauders while throwing a pitch. Because of a torn triceps, the Cabo San Lucas starting pitcher is expected to miss 4 months. Griffith was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."
This season Griffith has worked 141.1 innings with 115 strikeouts en route to a 7-10 record and a 4.14 ERA. | |
