Sunday, August 12th, 2012: Just when it looked like Greg Gordon would soon return to the Carolina Crush, the center fielder suffered yet another setback in his recovery from knee tendinitis. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Gordon experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be disabled for at least 4 days.
Gordon is swinging at a .259 pace on the year with 16 home runs, 58 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has played in 109 games.
