 | RCL Star of the Week Announced Monday, July 2nd, 2012: At the age of 27, Victor Welsh might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Montgomery catcher put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .550 batting average. For his efforts Welsh collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 11 hits in 20 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 6 games. Posting a .267 batting average to date, Welsh has 7 home runs and 41 RBIs. |   |
