 | Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month
Sunday, July 1st, 2012: Youngster Lawrence Fox emerged as the latest Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Kansas City deserved the honor, batting .356 with 3 home runs and 21 RBI. Is the month of June a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Fox enjoy the limelight.
So far this year Fox is hitting .305 with 5 home runs.
