Saturday, June 23rd, 2012: Iván Ortíz, left fielder for the Jacksonville Jacks, was making great progress in healing torn ankle ligaments according to a team spokesman, but then he suffered a setback yesterday. "Iván was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least one week before he will be able to rejoin the club."
Ortíz is hitting .255 so far this season with 14 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 24 hits including 2 home runs, 13 walks and .339 OBP.
