Today he was chosen May's Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Month for his remarkable month of hitting. In 28 games Burris batted .411 for Nottinghamshire, slapping 51 hits in 124 at-bats with 1 home run, drove in 17 runs and scored 13 times.
