 | Watson Wins RCL Batter of the Month Friday, June 1st, 2012: Dale Watson is in the final year of his contract with Minnesota and today added a timely piece of hardware to his trophy case. Playing in 27 games in May the 31-year-old first baseman ripped Roberto Clemente League pitchers for a .343 batting average, nabbing him the Batter of the Month award. He also rang up 10 home runs, 31 RBIs and 26 runs scored. If Watson keeps up this pace, he'll cost someone a lot of money. This year Watson is batting .325 with 15 home runs and 53 RBIs. |   |
