 | Hensley Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, May 21st, 2012: 26-year-old Jeffrey Hensley sent shock waves through Adult Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Hensley made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .636 average, 14 hits in 22 at-bats, no home runs and 4 runs batted in. Where the So Cal Republic third baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Hensley certainly made his mark last week. Hensley is swinging at a .361 pace on the year with 5 home runs, 18 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has played in 43 games. |   |
