Wednesday, April 18th, 2012: Carolina got some bad news today concerning third baseman Scott Andrews. He is recovering from an oblique strain. Club doctors have extended his time of return to 4 days, saying his injury has not responded well to treatment. It is worse than they first diagnosed.
Andrews currently has a .243 batting average with 9 hits, 0 homers, 5 RBIs, 7 runs scored and a .326 OBP.
