Wednesday, April 11th, 2012: Jesse Clark expressed his disappointment when he learned that an oblique strain would sideline him for 6 weeks. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the line-up," explained Clark. The second baseman got hurt in today's game with the Carolina Crush. He was hurt colliding with a player at a base. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement.
Clark on the season is hitting .295 with 1 home run. His stats include 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
