 | Ramos Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Monday, April 2nd, 2012: On top of the Boston hit parade today was Miguel Ramos. He went to the plate 7 times and tagged 5 hits, but it was Eureka that marched off with the 10-9 win. He certainly had their number at the plate in this record-making 5-7 performance, however the Hornets marked it up in the victory column. The sweet swinging third baseman told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." The skipper of the Cardinals griped to the press, "As a team, we just didn't do it with the bats and the pitching today. That's why we lost." Miguel Ramos singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, doubled in the 10th and grounded out in the 11th. |   |
